What it is
A categorized knowledge base — each entry has a title, free-form content, and a category (general / factions / history / languages / cosmology / mythology / technology / economy / geography / characters). Filter the sidebar by category to keep big worlds navigable.
When to use it
- Recording history and worldbuilding that doesn't fit neatly into a single chapter.
- Documenting factions, religions, languages — anything the story references.
- Keeping designer-only notes (alongside player-facing material) under a private category.
- Onboarding a new writer: a well-filled lore bible is the fastest way to get them up to speed.
How to use it
- 1Click "+ Add Entry" and pick the closest category — icon and colour follow.
- 2Write the body — rich text, no length limit. Use headings to structure long entries.
- 3Tag entries with keywords for cross-search; the search bar matches title + body + tags.
- 4Link related entries via the "Related" field — surfaces a cross-reference list at the bottom of each entry.
Tips you should know
- →Category names are lowercase (general / history / …) — picking an uncategorized one silently falls back to "general".
- →Lore entries get included in the Pitch Maker PDF when you select them in a custom template.
- →Use the "characters" category for in-world figures who don't merit a full Character sheet (heroes of legend, distant rulers).
- →A tightly-tagged lore bible is searchable in-editor — the Story module's `#` tag autocomplete pulls from here.
