What it is
Per-project named palettes — each holds an ordered list of hex colours with optional labels. Pick a palette as the active brand and the rest of the project picks up the colours where applicable.
When to use it
- Locking in brand colours at the start of a project.
- Defining one palette per biome / region for consistent art direction.
- Sharing a UI palette with a contractor without sending Figma access.
- Auditing accessibility (contrast ratios appear next to each pair).
How to use it
- 1Click "+ New Palette" and name it ("Brand", "Forest", "UI Dark").
- 2Click "Add Color" — pick a hex via the colour picker.
- 3Drag swatches to reorder.
- 4Set one palette as Default — it drives the default accent colour in PDF exports.
Tips you should know
- →The default palette flows into the Pitch Maker PDF if no custom template overrides it.
- →Hex format only — RGBA and HSL inputs are normalised to hex on save.
- →A palette with no name renders as "Untitled" — names persist; positions don't (drag-reorder is per-session).
- →Pair with Mood Board: extract dominant colours from references and store them here.
